We are an online business and do not accept visits or collections from our depot; if you would like to purchase our product in hand you can visit one of our host of outlets @nearme to find your nearest collection centre. Our business hours are between 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday- Friday excluding Christmas and bank holidays.

Terms Of Service

Upon purchase from our website www.puckamuck.co.uk you will be accepting all terms and conditions stipulated below. Please ensure you have read through these terms carefully to avoid any complications and/or fees.

Local delivery

  • A minimum of 10x 60ltr sacks required for delivery.
  • A minimum of 15x 30ltr sacks required for delivery.
  • Delivery location must be within 40 miles from our depot.
  • Vehicles are only permitted to provide delivery on hard standing.
  • We will not deliver over any fence, hedge or wall exceeding the height of 3ft.
  • We are unable to dispatch goods under low hanging cables, trees, or outbuildings.
  • We are unable to dispatch goods on sloped surfaces.
  • Drivers are not permitted to carry goods up or down stairs, through properties or into back gardens.
  • Drivers must be able open their door to exit the vehicle to off load the product at your delivery location.
  • Kerbside drop offs must be in line with government guidelines.

The plot drop service

  • A minimum of 6x 850ltr bulk bags required per site visit.
  • Plots must be accessible from a haulage way or foot path with a minimum width of 1 metre.
  • Service charges will apply based on mileage from our depot.
  • Allotment location must be within 40 miles from our depot.
  • Kerbside drop offs must be in line with government guidelines.

the mobile shop

  • A minimum of 20x 60ltr / 30x 30ltr sacks pre ordered per site visit.
  • Allotment location must be within 40 miles from our depot.
  • The mobile shop vehicle is only permitted to provide service off hard standing.
  • Driver are not permitted to carry goods to your plot.
  • Kerbside drop offs must be in line with government guidelines.

THE Pallet Network Ltd (TPN) operates the following rules in relation to tail lift deliveries:

  • Providing delivery services across UK Mainland, highlands and island and Northern and Southern Ireland.
  • We offer a kerbside delivery service only.
  • The driver is not authorised to carry goods up or down steps or through a property.
  • The delivery driver will be able to wheel the pallet with a pallet truck as far as possible but is not able to remove goods from the pallet or take the pallet away.
  • Whilst our drivers are instructed not to take their vehicle off the roadway to make deliveries, our driver will make every effort with your delivery to meet your requirements.
  • If you require the driver to leave the roadway, it will be at your own risk.
  • All freight that is due for delivery on a tail lift vehicle must be secured to a pallet that is accessible from all four sides and have sufficient opening for a pump truck.

Please Note:

  • All deliveries are made in accordance with the RHA conditions of carriage.
  • Once the proof of delivery (POD) has been signed by the customer or on behalf of the customer, no subsequent claims can be made against the delivering company or Sussex Manures, as the POD is signed acceptance that the order is complete and intact.

Pricing & Payment Terms

All pricing and charges on this site are in British pounds (£) and include VAT (Value Added Tax). Delivery charges are calculated based on the mileage to your delivery destination and will be applied at checkout. Receipts and invoices for all orders will be sent to your email address. If you do not receive any mail from us, please notify our sales team on 01903 877689 or sales@sussexmanures.com to ensure any inaccurate information is rectified on your account.

Online Orders:

For all online orders payment will be required at point of order via card on our website. Orders will not be processed unless payment has been successful.

Phone orders:

Payment will be required at point of order to our sales team via card. We will accept cash payment which will be payable to the driver on the day of delivery. In some circumstances we may offer payment via invoice with payment link. Payment in this way will be expected before the day of delivery. Failure of payment before this date will result in cancellation of your order and 10% charge of total purchase price.

Service Payments:

All services will need to be booked and arranged via our sales team, please call 01903 877689, opt 1.

The plot drop service:

Payment for this service will be sent to you via invoice with payment link which is payable via card. Payment for this service will be expected before the day of delivery. Failure of payment before this date will result in a cancellation of your order and 10% charge of the total purchase price.

The mobile shop:

Payment for this service is payable via cash or card to the driver on the day of delivery. Pricing for this service is discounted and bags are on sale for £6 per 60ltr sack.

Trade accounts:

Payments for orders are due within 30 days of the invoice date. Late payments will be subject to 5% interest charge per month. Failure to pay within 6 months of the invoice date will result in your account being suspended and no further orders accepted until your account has been credited.

Returns & Refund Policy

Refunds:

Refunds will be actioned upon request in line with our terms of service via a phone call on 01903 877689 or email sales@sussexmanures.com. The transfer of money for refunds will take 3-5 working days.

returns:

If you wish to return your products for any reason, this will only be granted if the product is still in its original state. We will collect the goods at your expense, this will be charged at the full rate of travel to your location, no delivery discounts will apply for returns.

  • Returns will not be granted for any product sold in loose i.e. 2.5 cubic metres, 7.5 cubic metres or 12 cubic metres.
  • Refunds will not be granted for any returned product that has been opened or damaged at your dispatch location.

Cancelations & Failed Deliveries

Cancellation of orders can be made via a phone call on 01903 877689 or via email sales@sussexmanures.com, which should be done at least 48hrs prior to your delivery date.

  • Cancellations that are made before 48 hours of the confirmed delivery date will be granted a full refund.
  • Cancellations that are made after 48 hours prior of your confirmed delivery date but before delivery has been dispatched, you will incur a cancellation fee of 10% of your order value. This will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • Cancellations made after the order has been dispatched will incur a cancellation fee the full delivery charge including 25% of order value. This will be deducted from the refund amount.
failed deliveries

Due to the restrictions we face with our delivery vehicles it is mandatory that all delivery information and terms and conditions are read through thoroughly. Failed deliveries include;

  • insufficient vehicle access
  • unsuitable ground conditions
  • unrealistic delivery locations
  • inability to gain access to the property off the highway

Failure of deliveries for any reason including those stated above, will be subject to the full delivery charge plus 25% of the product price. The recovery of any stuck vehicle due to no fault of our own will be the responsibility of the customer.

In the occurrence of a delivery failure due to no fault of our own such as vehicle breakdowns, road closures, staff sickness or severe weather conditions, we will do our best to meet your requirements and your order will be rescheduled to the nearest possible date.

Disclaimer of Liability

  • We are not responsible for any damages or failure to personal property that may occur during the use of our product or services including delivery.
  • If your property has restricted/difficult access it is advised that you are present to assist our vehicle off the highway and into your property.
  • The company is not responsible for any delays in delivery due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as extreme weather conditions or road closures.
  • We are not responsible for any misconception of information obtained from our website; all information is to be treated as a guideline.
  • Whilst we strive to provide accurate and up to date information on this site, we cannot guarantee the completeness of new information from this website.
  • We reserve the rights to change and update our terms at any time and encourage users to review periodically.
  • Any damage caused due to no fault of our own to our plant at your delivery location will be chargeable to the customer.
  • The recovery of any stuck vehicle due to no fault of our own will be the responsibility of the customer.
